The volume reduction increases the pumping efficiency of the motor and improves torque and accelleration. This mod is a real PITA, and Rod swears he will never do it again, but it is very effective. Oiler reservior160 viewsThis is my first reservior. It is a little on the big size. Later oilers were reduced to 0.5"x0.5"x1.0". The reservior is glued to the bulkhead with JB weld. The oulet goes through the bulkhead and is attached to the nipple on the shaft log with a short length of silicone tubing.tnrcboatracer
